How I built this site and why |
As you can probably tell, this site is built 100% in WordPress. There are (currently) no plugins used, but there is some custom code for the portfolio and front pages. But even these pages are still WordPress Pages, just with special page templates. While I certainly could build and run the site “by hand,” changing the code base as I go to add new sections, features, etc., I chose to run the site with WordPress for the same reasons so many people run their blogs and editorial sites with it: because it’s easier! WELL! I’m just about there. Still going to add a few things to the portfolio and some tweaks and adjustments might occur, so hold tight!
